This female-led, directed, and produced anthology series will take the audience into a new kind of storybook by showcasing lesser-known fables, mythology, and folklore in a gender-inclusive experience.

Synopsis

Melissa Joyners’ writing and directorial debut, Reimagined Volume III: Young Thang, also known as The Young Thang with two Skins; or, she was not really ugly, but beautiful, as she was born with two skins fable is keen storytelling that blends thoughtful narrative, emotional depth, and strong visual prowess.
She is a director, writer, actor, vocalist, and professor with an authentic approach. She honed her craft under esteemed mentors, including the iconic Dr. Maya Angelou. Melissa's dedication earned an MFA from The Actors Studio, solidifying a foundation for her multifaceted career.

JULIE CAVALIERE
Julie Cavaliere is an award winning writer, actor, director, and producer based in New York City. She began her career working for Scott Rudin productions, and later served as head of development for the boutique production company, M.E.G.A.Films. Julie's work has been featured by Funny or Die, CollegeHumor, Elizabeth Banks' WhoHaHa, and has been in competition at several festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and Slamdance.
MICHAELA TERNASKY-HOLLAND
Michaela Ternasky-Holland is an Emmy and Webby award-winning XR/metaverse storyteller. Recently named as one of the 100 Original Voices of XR, she creates non-fiction and socially impactful stories by using immersive and interactive technology. She focuses on the impact of the projects to move beyond the project itself. Her work has been featured by TIME, Forbes, The Guardian, Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and The New York Public Library.
